Kerbstone memorials line the edge of the path adjacent to the Memorial Garden at Bournemouth Crematorium formerly known as ‘The Blind Garden’, due to the variety of plants and flowers historically grown there of poignant smells, such as the ‘Bubblegum plant’.
Kerbstones in Bournemouth are stone blocks holding a brass-coloured tablet engraved with an inscription of your choice, up to 60 letters.

In Poole, these are Purbeck Stone blocks with the inscription of up to 60 letters inscribed into the stone.
The tablets are in position for an initial lease period of 10 years, with an option to renew for a further 10 years at the end of this period.
