We have adopted the Charter for the Bereaved, providing a very high standard service.
Our Mission Statement
To provide a caring, compassionate, and meaningful service that meets the needs of our bereaved communities through death and in life.
Our commitment to you
We are committed to: -
- Providing a caring and compassionate bereavement service that helps support the bereaved now and, in the future
- Continuing to improve our service by discussing, rather than disguising or ignoring death, and helping others understand the impact that death and grieving can have on individuals, groups and communities
- Defining the rights of every individual who experiences bereavement by setting standards of service related to burial, cremation and funerals encompassing faith and non-faith beliefs
- Providing a range of choices, options and prices available to the bereaved on burials, cremations and commemorations
- Supporting and enabling the bereaved to arrange a meaningful funeral service, with content that meets their own specific needs and requirements, and encouraging more sustainable choices that support the environment
- Help with signposting to help and support forums for people struggling with their grief.
